Asher Michael Scheck's Story

Hi there, my name is Kayla Cox. I am sisters with Jessica Scheck, and sister-in-law to Jaryd Scheck. This Gofundme is being created for them and their family, as they begin to take on the biggest challenge they have ever had to face. Before I jump into that, let me tell you a little bit about the Scheck family.

 

In 2020, Jaryd and Jessica already had three beautiful daughters, Jayna (9), Kensley (5) and Maya (3), when on September 1st, 2020, they welcomed Asher Michael and Everly Faith into this world, making their family of five quickly turn into a family of seven. At this time, they had just purchased their first home, and would soon open up their own family-run car detailing business.

 

Aside from all the craziness that COVID-19 brought into their lives, things were going well. That was up until September 9th when they received the news that Asher had a tumor in his chest, attached to his spine. Early this morning (Sept, 15th), our family received the confirmation that Asher has Neuroblastoma, a cancer commonly found in children 5 years or younger. As you can imagine, this news has been devastating for the Scheck family, and all their loved ones.

 

Asher is a fighter, but he needs lots of prayers/thoughts/positive energy sent his way. This Gofundme will help the Scheck family in this trying and difficult time of their lives. Jessica and Jaryd have spent everyday at Asher's side in the hospital since he was admitted, and therefor have been unable to continue running their business in the meanwhile. All proceeds will go directly to the Scheck family to cover medical costs, transportation, child care for Asher's siblings, and other costs that will arise during this time.
