Asha’s trip to SHE Rescue Home Cambodia

Hi - I’m Asha

In August 2024, I will be joining a group of people to go to the SHE Rescue Home in Cambodia for 2 weeks.

The SHE Rescue Home is a not-for-profit organisation run by Citipointe Church, which operates with the local authorities in Cambodia to rescue and provide a safe haven for young girls who have been trafficked. SHE Rescue Home not only provides safe housing - it also teaches the young girls and their families important life skills to support themselves, engages them in community, programs and activities and provides counselling and therapeutic supports.

The purpose of this trip is for me to be able to be a part of that support system for the women, young girls and families involved with the rescue home - along with providing support to the local community and churches.

I'm honoured to have the opportunity to meet with, and hear the stories of the young girls and their families that are a part of the SHE Rescue Home community.

I will be working to support myself to go on this journey - however, any contributions to the costs of travel and other associated funds would be so appreciated any donations will go towards the costs of travel, accomodation, items and additional provisions that are being taken to the families who need them most.
