Ashlie & Ruby run the NYC TCS Marathon for Breast Cancer

Ash & Ruby have been friends since the good old days (even before the iPhone came out)

Fast forward 15 years, and we now live across the hall from each other in NYC. When we surprisingly got into the United Airlines Half Marathon lottery, we had no choice but to start running. We started our first run with a goal to run one mile. Since then, we have fallen in love with running and the community we have found through it.

Breast Cancer has affected so many women we know and love, and we are so excited to raise money for a cause that focuses on both prevention and treatment.

We are raising money to benefit The Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund.

They will support both new and established researchers at Stony Brook Medicine, investigating the causes, prevention and treatment of breast cancer.
