Ashley's Lyme Disease Health Journey

Dearest friends and family,

Writing this feels far from easy. Stepping deeper into transparency and vulnerability and asking for help feels like a big jump beyond the edge of my comfort zone. So here I am, trying something new, and stretching out to lean on the loving support of my community, near and far, in prayer and support of the healing of my body.

A few of you know, but many may not, that I have been deep in the throes of a health crisis the past several years, with this year being the hardest. While I may look bright and healthy on the outside, internally, I have been struggling. The past six months have brought me to my knees, time and time again as I have discovered that I have chronic Lyme disease. More days than not have been a struggle just to lift and carry myself out of bed, making work and other joyful tasks of living incredibly challenging. Almost daily I experience extreme fatigue, joint pain, muscle weakness, nerve impairment, head and eye pain, altered vision, brain fog and Alzheimer’s like symptoms, and depression from the lack of finding much relief.

I am hopeful to explore a new mode of healing through utilizing Scalar technology treatments. Unfortunately, these treatments are not covered by insurance and add up to be quite costly. Any bit of support for me to embark on the journey of these new healing treatments would be beyond a gift to receive. I also warmly welcome support in the form of thoughtful prayer, a bright hello, or a moments pause in your day to envision and send healing energy to my body and being.
