Bills! Bills! Bills! (Little 90's reference). We got hit hard in 2024 with hospital bills. Then 2025 came in to finish the damage. I am going to be having some surgeries. Carl was laid off in May. Carl needs extensive dental work as the dental damage is raising his blood pressure. We had to buy our own insurance, which covers less just as the price of Rx drugs have skyrocketed. There are meds that we are no longer able to afford. Our van retired itself in a fit of leaks, broken axles, and cracks, etc. It wasn't pretty. We were without a car for the summer, but it's more expensive to not have a car. We don't know if Carl's unemployment will be extended. He may have to take on gig work for a time. A down payment and other fees cuts into our rent this month. Times are rough for everyone. If we can help with anything, please let us know.
