Hi! My name is Jayda Levine and I am currently a junior at John F Kennedy High School in Bellmore. I am part of Kennedy’s Community Leadership Program, which is a three year, selective program of students who are chosen based on their outstanding character and selflessness.
Because I am passionate about ice skating (I have been figure skating since I was 3 years old), my Civics Project for the program promotes the benefits of ice skating for children on the autism spectrum.
I have set a date, March 10th at Port Washington Skating Center from 12:15-2pm. All of the proceeds raised from this gofundme will fund this event and help support Eden ll Programs. Eden ll Programs is a not-for-profit organization that serves over 500 participants in New York City and Long Island. The mission of Eden II Programs is to support people with autism through service, science, and passion so they may achieve their full potential throughout their lives. Eden II Programs provides a variety of services using the evidence-based principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to treat the delays and challenges associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Eden II is recognized nationally as a leader in working with individuals across the autism spectrum, including those with the most significant challenges.
We are grateful for any contribution from our supporters in any amount. However, corporations that contribute $500 or more, and individuals who contribute $50 or more will be identified in our program as event sponsors.
Thank you for reading and considering donating to this event and an incredible organization.
