Did you know that almost 40 million Americans struggle with a substance abuse disorder? We want to change that statistic.

A Scoop of Hope exists to help people staring down the path of addiction recovery with the tools they need for strength, confidence, and hope. We sell ice cream and take donations to assemble curated, transitional backpacks for those exiting rehab and entering recovery homes.

With your help, we raised over $30,000 dollars and donated 300 backpacks in our first year for this community in need. This year we have a goal to raise $50,000, assemble 500 backpacks, and affect countless lives for the better.

Everyone can use a little hope at times, and your donation can make a real difference in someone's life.

Rehabs are structured treatment programs aimed at helping those struggling with addiction. Following a medical detox and behavioral therapeutic interventions, patients begin the long term commitment of staying sober at a recovery home. Recovery homes provide a drug and alcohol free accommodation with expectations for residents to obtain employment and begin building healthy lifestyle choices.

Making the transition from rehab to a recovery house can be both an exciting and terrifying experience. Many are without friends, family, or resources. That's why our backpacks are full of items to help make the journey of getting back on one's feet a successful one.
