ASCE Student Regional Conference

The University of Colorado American Society of Civil Engineers Student Chapter is hosting the Rocky Mountain Regional Student Conference. This conference includes the concrete canoe and steel bridge competitions as well as professional business meetings and paper presentations. There will be around 400 student and faculty attendees at this conference.
This conference is important to students as it is the first exposure to professional events for many of them. It is a great networking venue for their futures. In addition, it is wonderful hands on experience for what students learn in the classroom, but may not get to experience until they are working in industry. Meanwhile it is an experience that each student will carry with them for the rest of their life.
Students do pay fees to attend the conference, however the cost of hosting far exceeds the amount that the typical college student can pay for themselves. For this reason we are looking for donations.
Our budget is roughly as follows:
Welcome dinner- $15,000
Friday Lunch- $7,000
Saturday Dinner- $23,000
Lake Rental- $3,000
CU Rec Center- $1,000
T-Shirts- $3,800
Name Badges/ Programs- $2,000
Mystery Design Materials- $1,000
Miscellaneous other items- $4,200
