I’m Frank, a Canadian who has spent the past four months traveling through Indonesia.

During my journey, while surfing in a remote village in the north, I came across a small white rabbit confined to a tiny cage. I couldn’t look away.

What began as two weeks of caring for him quickly turned into something much deeper—I knew I couldn’t leave him behind to face neglect again.

So, together, Asa and I set off on an extraordinary journey. We traveled over 3,600 kilometers by land across the country, bound for a place he could finally call home—a place where he would be safe, loved, and cared for.

Along the way, the kindness and encouragement from fellow animal lovers have been truly overwhelming. Many of you have reached out, asking how you could support Asa and be part of his new beginning.

With that in mind, I’ve created this GoFundMe to help cover his veterinary care (including his recent neutering), the construction of his forever home, food, and the extensive travel expenses that brought him here.
