Help a loving family Asa Alesandro Manzoni

Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that we make this GoFundMe account. On Wednesday, February 28th, Asa Alesandro Manzoni was stuck by a vehicle in Grants Pass. Sadly, he did not survive.

He leaves behind an elderly mother, his two sisters, extended family members, and many friends who are having a hard time bearing the thought of living without him.

Asa was a best friend to everyone and an angel to many. His name meant ‘helper of man,’ and he lived up to that every day for thirty-two years. His nicknames, given by various family and friends, were Buddy Bud, #1 Son, and my Sweet Son, by his mother—Ace and Bro by his sisters, Angel and Little Brother by a few, and Ace by everyone else.

In Grants Pass, you could see him fishing or bent over in the river, looking for gold and beautiful rocks. He would give them away to others for good energy, to symbolize his love for them, to help them financially, or just to make them feel better.

You may have also seen him walking around, collecting and throwing away trash because he hated what was happening to the earth.

Or you might have seen him riding his bike around, sharing homemade bread, fresh eggs, and fresh and canned goods from his organic farm.

Some people he helped acquire medical care they couldn’t find before. He shared his knowledge of organic and medicinal gardening and shared herbs and oils with others.

Asa was finishing up his Organic Gardening classes and would have graduated this summer. He planned on building a garden big enough to help feed the needy in Grants Pass.

His family centered their lives around him, not just financially but emotionally, mentally, and physically. They are broken inside and out.

They need our support with the End of Life Ceremony and Finances, and immediate needs. They will need our assistance keeping his farm and the family home from being taken. They will also have medical bills resulting in this terrible accident.

Whether through financial contributions or sharing this message with others who may be able to help, no amount is too small, and every gesture of support is deeply appreciated. Your generosity will help to provide some comfort and security for his grieving family as they navigate this heartbreaking journey without him.

If you can contribute, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your thoughts, prayers, and words of encouragement are invaluable during this time.

The family has chosen Earth Day to celebrate his life as Asa would have loved that day to be remembered. Stephens Family Chapel 1629 Williams Hwy. Grants Pass, OR. April 22, 2:00 PM

You are welcome to visit, sign his book, write a note to his family, or talk about what Asa meant to you.
