In light of recent events, we are going strong with our plans for expansion.
Our immediate need is for our small dog kennel expansion. Of the 1500-2000 animals rescued each year, about half are dogs. Many are often small senior dogs, relinquished by their elderly owners. This is a crucial problem because these dogs, being older, require longer housing until forever families are found. Any turn away from us will almost guarantee euthanasia at other facilities.
The kennel expansion will increase the space so that more lives can be saved.
The specific project is to purchase 28 cages @ $425 each.
