Hi, I am Emily Rahhal, a 16 year old high school junior. My17th birthday is on Veterans Day, 2015.  I have dedicated my birthday to supporting the National Veterans Foundation and their programs serving Veterans in-need.  I and my family will host a benefit for the NVF in conjunction with my birthday party on November 7th.

22 veterans commit suicide every day.

Together, we can drastically lower that number.

Our generation has such a unique opportunity to be heard: we are all constantly connected and have ample platforms to speak our minds. Let’s use this opportunity to raise awareness for the devastatingly large number of veterans who take their own lives.”
