Support Daniel's Family in Their Time of Loss

Daniel Patrick Sattler was born December 11, 1984 in Redfield, SD to Lonnie and Lori Sattler. He attended RHS and graduated in 2003 and went on to Mitchell VoTech where he completed his degree in Electrical Construction & Maintenance. In June 2006 Dan moved to Bakersfield, CA after taking a job with Braun Electric. Shortly following his move Dan met Melissa in November of the same year and pursued a nearly 5 year relationship. After, Dan and Kelly met and married in 2012 and had two amazing children, Danika and Kelten. Following their split, Dan and Melissa rekindled their relationship and built a beautiful blended family. In November 2022, Dan and Melissa were legally married in a private ceremony at the Ventura Courthouse, then celebrated with friends and family in a formal ceremony in April 15, 2023.A couple of months following, Dan adopted Chase and Kaia completing their family unit. The following months and years have been filled with much love, happiness and laughter. Daniel is survived by his wife Melissa and children; Chase, Kaia, (Matthew) Clays (Miles and Dean), Danika and Kelten. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers and brother Nathan. Additional survivors include his parents Lonnie and Lori, siblings Casi (David) O'Daniel (Kiara and Tristen), Ryan (Kellie) and children Dalton, Emerson, Ainslee and Kaidence, Matthew (Kassandra) and children Mason, Kamden, Penelope and Natalee, Seth and Sara along with grandmothers, other family and close friends.
