I have started this Gofundme account for a truly deserving and special human being. We who know and love her affectionately refer to her as Mimi. She is always dolling out goodwill and ready and willing to help others with an open heart and open mind. There are no words to truly capture all that she is, but a few words immediately come to mind: generous, kind, and funny. She is generous with her time and all that she has, and no matter what she is faced with, she is always able to smile and push forward with grace.

Last week Thursday, however, her life took a sudden turn - something we all have been impacted by in one way or another. Her loved one had a heart attack. Specifically, her husband of only 41 years old. She is now faced with the difficult task of caring for her husband while he recovers and working a full-time job. If that is not enough, because her husband is now unable to work, she is now faced with the financial strain of paying for his life-saving medication without his income.

So I ask you to please join me in donating anything you are willing to give to help lift some of Mimi's financial burdens as she and her husband find their new normal.
