As we get ready for our wedding and the next chapter of our lives together, we're hoping to tackle a project that's been on our wish list since we moved in: replacing the carpets and flooring throughout our home.

When we bought the house, the bedrooms came with some very bold carpets—think bottle green and black. While they've certainly made a statement, they're not quite our style, and after years of wear and tear, they're looking pretty tired. Our lounge currently has cold laminate flooring, which can make the room feel less cosy than we'd like, especially during the winter and lead to us chasing dirt around the room.

Instead of traditional wedding gifts, we're asking for contributions towards helping us refresh our floors and create a home that feels a little more like us. New carpets will bring warmth, comfort, and a fresh look to the rooms where we'll be spending our newlywed years.

There's absolutely no expectation to contribute—your love, support, and good wishes are more than enough. But if you'd like to help us with this project, every donation, big or small, will be put towards replacing the ageing carpets and making our home a warmer, more welcoming place.
