We are family to Seher & Sayeed - the brave parents of warrior princess Arya Sayeed Patel, who was born on August 12, 2015 with a congenital heart defect known as HLHS. We are seeking your support to help this family with the astronomical medical expenses required to care for a heart baby, as most expenses are unfortunately not covered by their insurance.

Since birth, Arya has undergone the first of a series of open heart surgeries. She underwent her first surgery on August 18th - less than a week after she was born. She was allowed to go home on September 15th, but not without an incredible amount of equipment to monitor her progress minute by minute. On October 20th, she was readmitted to the hospital with a cold, which required getting back on oxygen and additional tests as heart babies have a more difficult time dealing even with common colds.

She was finally allowed to go home again on November 2nd, but was readmitted to the hospital just 2 days later since her saturations were running lower than they should be. On November 9th, Arya required a heart-cath procedure. She ended up getting 2 stents placed and went on medication to help with the increased pressure in her lungs. As of now, the family is in the hospital with Arya who is still in recovery.
