Arwen-Vira's Summer Theatre

Donation protected
Hi! My name is Arwen-Vira and I am 13 years old. For some of you, you know me as the daughter of Tyrone and Gabriela Marsh. My dad suggested that I start my own GoFundMe campaign with the hope that we can raise the money I need for this summer.

I have always been in love with the world of theatre. Since the age of 5, I have been on the theatre stage. I want to be an actress, a professional actress for stage and TV. I have recently been accepted into a prestigious summer conservatory at The Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey and I am super excited. Many of the people in this summer conservatory want to be Broadway actors. During this summer experience, my knowledge of the art form and the craft will be expanded. It will be an amazing opportunity!  This program will not only further root me on the life of a thespian but it will also show and demonstrate the way the drama and comedy world’s work. But here's the issue… the program cost, food and transporation will be more than $3000! Whoa! It’s not cheap! However, I am only trying to raise... $2000. I must pay the conservatory fees before June 1, 2016.

So this is where you come in. I am asking for your help. By just donating a small amount of $10 to whatever amount of money you want to give, you will be helping to give me the experience of participating in this program. I remember reading once “We rise by lifting others”, so I ask for your support as I continue on my path to reach my dreams of becoming a professional actress.

A little about the Paper Mill Playhouse's 2016 Summer Musical Theatre Conservatory:

Students undertake a rigorous five-week program (June 27th-July 30th) designed to enhance performance skills while instilling the technique, disciple, and professionalism needed to excel in the performing arts. The end of the month is devoted to rehearsals for the New Voices concert. Taking part in New Voices is a remarkable opportunity. Participation is a great honor--a chance for students to demonstrate their talent on a grand scale.

Here is also a sample of my daily schedule during the 5-week program:

7:30am - Wake up
7:40am - Get dressed/leave the house
8am - Leave and arrive at Paper Mill Playhouse

8:45am to 9am  CLASSES:   Vocal Ensemble
10am to 11am - Acting
11am to 12pm - Acting for the Camera/Improv/Voice Lessons

12pm to 12:30pm  LUNCH

12:30pm to 2pm - Musical Theatre
2pm to 3pm - Dance
3pm to 5pm - Guest Artist Master Classes or New Voices Rehearsal

5:45pm - Get home

I hope you will consider helping me be a part ot the Paper Mill Playhouse's 2016 Summer Musical Theatre Conservatory.
