Arwen Olena’s living expenses

Dear friends and family, my family and I are coming to you in a time of need. As many of you know my sister Arwen has been laid up at home recovering from a complication with her Crohn’s disease and an emergency surgery that happened in April 2023. She has shown incredible grace and patience in the healing process for the last year. Due to these complications, and another surgery that she needed in November 2023, she has not been able to work, and our family has been carrying the weight of helping her with her life expenses every month. But, we are at the point where we need to ask for help, because even though she applied for disability, she was denied, and as such still has no income. Arwen has hired a disability lawyer to help her appeal her case, but that process takes several months and is not guaranteed. 

Unfortunately, Arwen has to have another two surgeries in the next couple of months, because she still isn’t healing up from the last ones. This means that she will need to stay home, recuperating for the foreseeable future, and will still not be able to work.

Anything you can contribute is so appreciated and will go directly to her living expenses until her disability coverage can get sorted out. Our whole family appreciates how our community can come together and support us in time of need.
