Hello, friends and family. Since a lot of you have expressed to me your desire to help out my sister's family in their time of need, I have created this gofundme page to make it easier for you to do so. Even if you can't help financially, words of encouragement and support are greatly appreciated.

For those of you who may not yet know, my sister lost her husband of twenty-five years last Wednesday, June 17th. Together, they raised four awesome girls - two who recently finished college (UC Berkeley and UC Irvine/Davis), one who this year will be attending UC Berkeley, and the youngest, who will be a senior in high school. Knowing her, she will also be planning to attend a UC campus when she is done with high school. As you can imagine, or pretty much know first-hand, supporting kids and paying the costs of college (food, books, rent, loans, etc.) and high school-related expenses is very difficult, especially now for someone who suddenly finds herself a single mother of four. 

For those of you who may not personally know Kam (my sister) or Arvind (my brother-in-law), I can guarantee you that you would not forget them had you met them. Their friendliness and natural desire to help anyone and everyone was unmatched. If anyone ever needed anything, they would drop whatever they were doing and would be the first ones in line to help. 

I hope that this gofundme drive can help to reciprocate all the good that they have done for others during their short journey together. As I mentioned above, even if you can't donate financially, her family could use a few words of encouragement and support during this difficult time. Finally, if you could share this post, it would be greatly appreciated.
