❤️ for One Happy Island -COVID19

Anyone who has been to Aruba knows that it’s not just the natural beauty of the island. It’s also the warm and friendly hospitality of the people of Aruba. This GoFundMe is to help the individuals, the Arubans, who make it One Happy Island. 

As snowbirds who have made Aruba our winter home, I’d like to ask other snowbirds and vacationers  to return the hospitality and kindness that Aruban natives have shown us.  

All funds collected will be given to Fundacion Pa Nos Comunidad the official Aruban food bank.
Because of my home address the funds collected in Canadian dollars. If you are from the US, please consider that ~$1.40 cad = $1.00 USD

I realize that everyone is hurting during these difficult times but Aruba and it’s people are highly reliant on tourism which has now dropped to zero and will take a long time to recover. The government does not have the same resources as the US or Canada. Also, many locals may not be eligible for whatever little assistance the government may give.

Let’s show them the warmth,  hospitality and love that they have shown us.
