This is Arturo -beloved son, brother, uncle, boyfriend, amazing friend, and talented musician- As some of you may know, last Saturday, my brother Arturo was hit by a speeding motorcycle in our hometown of Torreón, Coahuila (Mexico). As a result of this accident, he suffered traumatic head injuries which caused brain hemorrhage (bleeding), a collapsed lung and several other injuries. He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and remains there to this day. Thanks to the amazing work of the doctors tasked with his care, he has been able to have a miraculous recovery and is currently stable. While the brain swelling goes down he is in an induced coma. Feeding tube was put in as well. His lung has been re-sealed and it will continue to be monitored until fully healed. Although his condition has improved, he is still not out of the woods yet; He will remain in the ICU until further notice.
In order to help cover the ever-increasing medical costs, I have created this GoFundMe page. I am asking for everyone’s help, for my brother and my family. Anything helps and if unable to donate, please share to help this cause reach as many people as possible.

El es Arturo - muy querido hijo, hermano, novio, tío, amigo y un músico talentoso- Como algunos de ustedes ya lo saben, el sábado pasado, mi hermano Arturo fue atropellado por una moto en nuestro natal Torreón, Coahuila (Mexico). Este accidente le causó una contusión cerebral con pequeños derrames, uno de sus pulmones colapsara y múltiples heridas en el cuerpo. Fue ingresado a Terapia Intensiva donde permanece hasta el día de hoy. Gracias al gran trabajo de los doctores a cargo de su cuidado, ha ido evolucionando favorablemente y se encuentra estable. En estos momentos se encuentra sedado (o coma inducido) mientras esperan a que baje la inflamación en el cerebro causada por la contusión. Se le puso una sonda para poder alimentarlo. Su pulmón ya fue sellado y se mantendrá bajo observación hasta que sane por completo. A pesar de que su estado de salud ha ido mejorando, aún queda un largo camino por recorrer. Se mantendrá en terapia intensiva por el momento. Para ayudar a solventar los costos, he creado esta página de GoFundMe. Estoy pidiendo la ayuda de todos, por mi hermano y mi familia.
