Help Archie Shine at ArtsEd – Support His West End Dream
Donation protected
I am very lucky to be have given an offer at Arts Educational on the 3 year Degree BA Hons course. This opportunity is life-changing, but sadly, for us as a family the financial reality is daunting. The course is £18K+ and this doesn't include accommodation in London which is also very expensive. While we are applying for the full student finance package, the cost of accommodation, living expenses, and essential training resources in London far exceed what we are realistically able to fund alone.
To help ease the pressure, I’m currently working extra shifts at my jobs to earn as much as I can and support my parents. I work at weekends and during school holidays when I’m home, picking up extra shifts at my old drama school, as well as at Chester House, where I’ve also been taking on more hours. My parents are contributing as much as they possibly can to help make this dream a reality, and I’m so grateful for everything they are doing.
I am currently:-
Applying for bursaries and scholarships through ArtsEd -
Reaching out to performing arts funding trusts and organisations -
Exploring community fundraising and sponsorship opportunities.
If anyone here has experience with funding drama school training, knows of grants, trusts, or organisations who support young artists, or would be willing to offer support—financial or otherwise—I would be incredibly grateful.
I am also arranging a fundraising concert on 25th July.
Thank you so much for reading and for any support you can offer, even if that’s simply a share or a kind word.
I have also attached a link to my performance. I hope you enjoy.
