My name is Arsalan Rana and I am the founder of ARTS. ARTS started in 2019 as a one man rescue and now we have a rescue team and shelter MA. Since 2019, I have helped thousands of animals and at any given time we have over 200 animals at the ARTS shelter.

We are based in Karachi Pakistan, where there are no animal welfare laws and sadly this leaves a lot of animals (particularly strays) abused, neglected, injured, hungry and sick.

We carry out some of the most dangerous rescues in karachi, with team members often risking their own lives for the sake of animals. We are not government funded, and the donations we get help us feed, vaccinate and give medical care to animals through our on site vet.

I have been trying for years to bring about change, to change the attitude of the community towards animals. Through ARTS, we have ran campaigns and visited schools/universities to educate the public on animal welfare.
