On behalf of Artorius’ dad, Oleg, we have been asked to help arrange a special send off for him.
Anyone who knew Artorius will know he was a big, gentle giant. He had a real passion for the gym and for his work, and if you ever trained with him, you definitely felt it — he pushed everyone to their limits in PT sessions. He may have looked big and tough on the doors, but behind that was the sweetest soul and the most bubbly, warm personality.
Artorius was on a cruise with his dad, having the time of his life. Sadly, on the 11th of February, he said he was feeling tired and wanted to return to the cabin. After going back, he stepped out onto the balcony for some fresh air — and that’s when his heart suddenly stopped. The doctors on board did everything they could to restart his heart, but tragically, he passed away.
Artorius had travel insurance which will cover the cost of his cremation abroad but unfortunately after talking to them they have now confirmed that there isn’t enough budget to return his ashes home to the UK. They have now billed his dad £1,400 for the return of the ashes.
Arthur loved to party and loved to celebrate life so we can not let him leave this world quietly, we want to give him the send off he truly deserves.
We would deeply appreciate any support towards helping us arrange his celebration of life and anything to help support his family during this incredibly difficult time.
Let’s give our big man the send off he deserves ❤️
Artorius’ Celebration of Life
Artorius’ send off will be held at the King’s Head on Saturday 14th March from 3pm.
Everyone who knew him is welcome to come along and raise one last drink in his honour. Let’s make him proud and give him a send off that puts a big smile on his face up there.
If anybody has any photos or videos with Arthur, please could you send them over to me on WhatsApp or iMessage on 07588764274.
Thank you❤️
