Help Artiszen continue to be an innovative force in the growing Vallejo Arts Community by funding its overhead and improvement costs.
Artiszen is a place where magic happens...
When Artiszen opened its doors as a gallery in November 2013, it sparked an exciting change in downtown Vallejo, California. There's something about the space that lures you in, awakens your senses, warms your heart, and welcomes you to stay. It isn't just a gallery filled with great art -- it's where you can count on a warm greeting, or engage in thoughtful conversation, it's where you can meet people, make new friends, and be a part of the community. In a town where crime often takes center stage, Artiszen and the many other galleries that have since opened up, have been making a positive difference in Vallejo, and have given the city what it so desperately needs... a safe place to enjoy the "art of community."
Artiszen hosted its first official show, "Evocare: a Vivid Sense of Reality" featuring works of 20+ local photographers. The huge success of the show prompted the gallery to host numerous other shows, all with equal success - a Comedy Show, an Urban Art/Graffiti Show, another photography show dedicated to Vallejo. It hosted the 50th Anniversary of the Wilderness Act Youth Art Show, and it also began to feature solo artists.. With each show, the gallery has made more of a name for itself and now garners the respect of both artists and residents alike.
What has always been important to Artiszen is focusing on the youth of Vallejo and developing classes and programs to enrich their lives and their appreciation of the arts. Many of the local schools do not have art programs and this is something that Artiszen hopes to remedy.
So what is the purpose of this campaign? What people don't know is that the gallery's overhead has been funded primarily by its founder, Sean Gutierrez, and it's something he cannot sustain into the future. Artiszen is forever evolving and has plans to do even more - crafting additional classes and programs in the arts - which will require improvements to the building and operating funds. That is why we're doing this gofundme campaign. The amount we've asked for is to hold us over while we finalize our non-profit status and apply for grants. Please help us continue the powerful momentum Artiszen has started, and enable the gallery to realize its goals of serving the city of Vallejo and its youth.
Thank you so much for your time and interest! Please support us by sharing our gofundme page with your network of friends, family, colleagues, and acquaintances.

WE WILL EMAIL YOU A SURVEY TO FIND OUT WHAT DONOR GIFT YOU WOULD LIKE!!!
