As followers of Christ, we are each led in unique ways. God knows our gifts and talents, and we believe He calls us to use those gifts to share His Word and teachings with others. Recently, Roger Dale Brown, John Lasater, and Beverly Ford Evans have felt a calling to make an artistic pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Their mission is to walk where Jesus walked and where, as Christians, they know He will walk again—to see, feel, and experience the sacred places of His life, His teachings, and His ultimate sacrifice—and to record those moments through their art.
Their goal is to bring glory to God and, through their work, inspire others to seek Him more deeply. They hope to return home with visual expressions of faith—paintings that capture the beauty and spiritual depth of those Holy Grounds and serve as inspiration for all who see them. The group plans to travel and paint in the Holy Land from mid-April through mid-May 2027.
Please pray that the conflict in the Middle East is resolved soon. Know that Roger, John, and Beverly are committed to this pilgrimage, but are aware they may need to adjust their timeline accordingly.
While they are stepping out in faith, they recognize that this mission will bring financial challenges. They invite you to partner with them if you feel led to do so. All contributions will go directly toward travel expenses and will be shared equally among the group. As a token of gratitude, supporters will be among the first to see the paintings created on location and will receive a discount toward a purchase, with higher levels of support receiving greater discounts. As they walk in His footsteps and share His light through the beauty of art, please know that they will be praying for you on His Holy Grounds. With gratitude and faith, Roger Dale Brown, John Lasater, and Beverly Ford Evans.
