artists need to survive Coronavirus

I am Austrian tourmanager DIETMAR HASLINGER and had to cancel the 2 + 1/2 weeks „celtic spring” with Irish band THE CONIFERS and Brits duo WILL POUND & NEIL BROWNING in the middle of the tour due to the Coronavirus-crisis.
From 16 originally confirmed concerts we could only play 6, which is a catastrophic loss of the tour-budget and the confirmed fees for the artists as well as the soundman and the costs for rented technical equipment, tour vans and lots more.
First we tried very hard to get through this tour as the Coronavirus did not look bad at all at the start of our trip, which became a „hell of a ride” after 10 days. We first lost our concert at Tricesimo in Italy and our trip to Venice, than learned that one show after the next got canceled, still trying to survive it! Finally our government came with the strict „all events canceled” and we had to give up. Than on friday evening we started with the urgent planning to „evacuate” the musicians and to give them the quickest possibility to leave the country and return back home, without being possibly quarantained. We partly had to rebook flights,  and also got new ones - another pile of costs! By saturday noon the planes to Dublin and London took off, and we all had been left with a massive loss!
We would be immensly greatful for every Euro you can donate, our target is 15.000.-- Euros to cover parts of the loss!

Ich bin der österreichische Tourmanager Dietmar Haslinger und musste wegen der Coronavirus-Krise eine 2 1/2-wöchige Tournee mit dem irischen Quintett THE CONIFERS und dem englischen Duo WILL POUND & NEIL BROWNING abbrechen. Von 16 geplanten Konzerten konnten nur 6 durchgeführt werden, was sich natürlich katastrophal auf das zu erzielende Tournee-Budget auswirkte, mit dem Posten wie die Gagen der Musiker, der Tontechniker, das technische Equipment, Hotels, Reiskosten, PLakate/Programmhefte, day off und die Agentur-% abgedeckt werden hätten sollen. Zuerst wurde alles versucht um die Tour zu retten, Kompromisse mit Veranstaltern geschlossen um irgendwie durchzukommen. Als wir allerdings den Ernst der Krise erkannten beschlossen wir die Tournee abzubrechen, was schließlich ja ohnehin auch durch den Erlass der Bundesregierung erzwungen wurde. Nun hieß es mit weiteren Kosten die Flüge umzubuchen und die Künstler schnellstmöglich auszufliegen, was heute auch geschehen ist! Der Verdienst-Entgang und die verursachten Kosten auf Grund  der zuvor nicht einkalkulierten zusätzlichen finanziellen Belastungen, die durch den Ausbruch der Corona-Krise entstanden sind ist sehr hoch. Mit 15.000.-- Euro könnten wir den Schaden begrenzen und für die Musiker und den Techniker einen Teil ihrer Garantie-Gagen ausgleichen!
Jede Hilfe ist willkommen und wäre eine riesengroße Erleichterung für uns, da ja auch die kommenden Monate einen 100%-igen Verdienstentgang für uns Alle bedeuten!
