Why we are Raising Funds:
Stephen's boat has been grounded outside of Issaquah Dock since yesterday's storm. The community has tried in every way to float it, and in the last few hours has made great progress but professional help may still be required. If it looks possible to get the boat floating again and liveable repairs will be needed to plug up a 4ft hole in the hull along with structurally to the outside of the boat and many items inside the boat more than likely will need to be replaced as they have been submerged underwater for the last 24+ hours. Many of You have asked How You Can Help and so we started this page to Raise the Funds to Raise his Floating Home.
How Donated Funds Will Be Used: (goal will be adjusted as progress is made)
*Possible Relocation to a more stable dwelling, should Stephen decide to go that route. (not battle storms, climate change and the uncertainties/longevity of anchoring out.)
*Possible need for Offical Tow Boat (looking less likely in the last few hours)
*Possible Marine Salvage Airbags to surround and Float the Boat (less likely hopefully)
*Possible Interim Housing
*Possible Hull Repairs
*Possible Replacement of Solar Panels, Batteries, Inverters & things burnt out from H2O
*Possible Restoration of his Home due to the storm (hull repair, broken windows, damaged siding, and recovery and/or replacement of Stephen's Livelihood that was destroyed when his boat sank yesterday.)
