Artist with Alzheimer's Needs to keep Studio

Thank you to all who donated to save Gusmano's studio. This is an image he took of our son swimming at the pool, an image I've loved because Vasco seems to be floating in his own world. Having that freedom, to float in your own world is what Gusmano's studio was for him, a place to allow his thoughts to bounce around, his dreams and vision to manifest. When I first started this GoFund me, I was scared that Gusmano was losing so much so quickly, and I didn't know where to turn, where to find help. I never imagined that there were so many people who cared so much. This Saturday, Gusmano will be having an exhibit where he'll be selling many of his iconic images from the 70s and early 80s. Images of street writers, lowriders, and a magical curandera. Faces we won't forget because Gusmano captured them at that moment in their lives. I close this fundraiser knowing that for now, in his words, "life is good." Ciao, a presto.
