Dear Friends and Family,
It is with great trepidation that I am
asking for your Help.
Five years ago, Tom, my partner of 33
years died. My ability to manage our
affairs was greatly impacted. I was able to keep my finances in order for many years with the liquidation of our assets, until
last year when I was hospitalized with
acute kidney failure. In my recovery, I was unable to work and I began to fall behind
financially.
In August, I put Tom's apartment on the
market, hoping that it would quickly sell. But unfortunately, this has not happened and I'm now months behind on my rent
and on Friday, I received notice from my
landlord that I must move by the end of
the month from my home and art studio of 28 years. I was able to negotiate staying
until the end of my lease, if I paid my back rent of $8000 by February 1st.
I am humbly asking for donations to help me through the difficult time.
With gratitude and warm regards,
Phillip de Loach
