Dann Philips Family House Fire Relief Fund

This is a fundraiser to help Dann Philips and his family due to an upstairs house fire that wiped out Dann's artist studio and his 16 year old son's bedroom.  Dann's son lost all his belongings and Dann himself (a life long comic book fan) lost his entire collection of comics, collectibles and artwork spanning 45 years of collecting. Yes, everyone was safe and that is the most important thing. But any collector out there would fully understand the pain of losing all your belongings and 45 years of comics, collectibles and original art that was your life's passion.

November 3, 2020  "We couldn’t escape 2020. We just had a house fire this morning.  Destroyed the entire upstairs and everything in it.  Everyone’s okay, no ones hurt, but besides my youngest son losing all his stuff, my studio was up there. I lost all of my art, comics and everything else. Not the best way to start our morning."
"We’re in a hotel now and not sure how long it’ll be before we can actually live in our home again."

I have known Dann for only 8 years from his twice yearly visits as a guest artist at our store comic events and through Facebook. An outstanding individual with an outstanding family.  As a fellow long time comic collector, I feel his loss. I am starting the fund raiser to help the family get on their feet, help his son replace his  belongings, and to help Dann possibly replace just a few of the important comics that shaped his life and influenced him to be the incredible artist and family man he is today.
