Artist Ken Gregory is in a health crisis & needs help

Hi there,

I'm launching this fundraiser for Ken Gregory, a renowned Canadian artist who is experiencing a profound health crisis.

For 4 years, Ken has quietly suffered from the slow progression of Parkinson’s Disease, a degenerative neurological condition that limits his ability to function, and it has made everyday activities like cooking, cleaning, laundry and personal hygiene increasingly impossible for him to do on his own. Even just getting dressed or preparing a meal can be an exhausting and frustrating endeavour.

As Ken has learned to cope with the worsening condition, he has had to put his artmaking on hold, which has severely limited his primary source of income. There is an increased need for assistance with medications, transportation and daily living expenses,

Until now, Ken has been able to manage with the help of friends, family, and limited participation in programs for disabled peoples. His Parkinson’s symptoms have worsened to the point where he needs more help.

This is where you come in!

Please donate to help cover Ken’s expenses, and to pay for some much-needed help with prescriptions, medical expenses, groceries, cooking, cleaning, laundry, other household tasks and errands.

Any donation large or small will help — but if we can get 100 people to donate $100, we will have $10,000. (And more is even better if you can swing it!) I've set the fundraiser up so the donations go directly to Ken, with no middle people.
