Artist Injured in Dog Attack – Support Needed to Recover
Donation protected
On Saturday, August 9th, 2025, what should have been a normal morning letting my dogs out turned into a nightmare that changed everything for me.
My new upstairs neighbor and her dogs didn’t hear me checking the yard because they were around the corner in a previously blocked off area of the yard. My dog bit her dog’s ear and while I tried to separate the dogs, her dog bit me 8 times on my hands, wrist, and arm. I had to rush to the ER, where I was treated for my injuries and shock. Since then, I’ve been left unable to use my hands—meaning I currently can’t work as an artist, musician, or jewelry maker, which are not only my passions but also how I support myself.
Instead of compassion or accountability, my new neighbor has been harassing me, having my landlord threaten me with eviction, and demanding I cover her vet bills—even though she’s already raised more than double her expenses through her own GoFundMe. Meanwhile, I am left struggling to pay my own medical bills, my dogs’ veterinary care, and basic living expenses.
This experience has left me not only physically injured but also deeply heartbroken, depressed, and struggling with my mental health and ongoing panic attacks.

Why I’m Asking for Help
I am raising funds to cover:
• My medical expenses from the ER and ongoing care
• My dogs’ veterinary bills after the incident
• My neighbor’s vet bill (to put an end to ongoing harassment)
• Living expenses while I am unable to work due to my injuries
