Hi, my name is Zhe. I’m a full-time tattoo artist in NYC. At the end of March, my face and body suddenly broke out into a mysterious rash combined with hives, and I was in immobilizing burning pain. I spent a lot of time in the hospital, between the emergency room, the allergist and the dermatologist. Nobody could figure out was was wrong, so the dermatologist decided to take a very large skin sample from my midsection. Between healing from that procedure, and waiting for my mysterious allergic reaction to end, I’ve missed out on a lot of work. My bills for April are outstanding and I’m not sure if i’ll even have enough for May. Me and my partner are both self-sufficient business owners, and she cannot take on full responsibility of our bills without her business taking a hit. If I don’t hit my goal, that’s okay.
