We, the family and friends of Artisha Johnson are grieving her loss. She passed away due to a car accident on Friday, July 29th, 2016... She was 28 years old.
Artisha was a single mom and is survived by her 3 year old son Loegan Johnson. We are raising money to pay for her funeral expenses. Despite the pain over the loss of Artisha, these financial obligations need to be taken care of, your contributions will be used to help her parents cover these expenses. As you can imagine, this is a time sensitive cost, our goal is to raise the money as fast as possible to avoid additional stress to the Johnson Family.
Artisha was the epitome of a true leader. Artisha's passion was to help people in any way she could and she always poured her heart out and was the biggest people server we have ever met. Artisha had the biggest heart, the biggest and brightest smile and was strong willed, determined, loving and loyal. Artisha was driven to succeed and to have financial security for Loegan. For those of us who had the priviledge of knowing and loving Artisha, we know she always made a lasting difference in anything she touched and that beyond any doubt - Artisha earned her place next to her Heavenly Father. We miss her terribly and her loss will be felt forever.
Artisha graduated Magna Cum Laude from Woodside High School and Magna Cum Laude from Norfolk State University. She was accepted to medical school and had deferred her attendance so she could take care of her son Loegan while also growing her own independent business to secure his future. During that time, she became like a daughter to us - and it's just like Artisha to be so amazing that she continues to bless our lives. She gave us strength in life and continues to do so.
