Our son Arthur was born early and has been in the NICU for over six months.

He has DiGeorge syndrome and ongoing lung complications, which means what we thought would be a short hospital stay has turned into a long-term situation—including transferring hospitals for the care he needs.

During this time, I haven't been able to work, and between staying near the hospital, daily expenses, and medical costs, things have added up quickly.

We've reached the point where 'we'll figure it out' needs a little help.

Even when Arthur comes home, his care will be ongoing, so this isn't a short-term challenge—it's something we're learning to manage long-term.
