On Tuesday, Art passed away with his loving family by his side in the comfort of his own home. His faith and positive energy was with him until the very end.
Although we can longer call him, work with him or see him – we will still continue to learn from him. He was selfless and passionate, giving 100% to his work, family and friends. He shared positivity and kindness every day of his life. He knew when to be soft and when to share tough love. He carried us on his back when we needed it and never asked for anything in return. All of us that were fortunate to get to know Art will forever be indebted to him. If there is one thing we can do - keep the thought - WWAD “what would Art do?” in the back of your mind. Art would work hard, have fun and be mindful of the ones around him. Art would never let you down. Art pushed you to do your very best. Art shared his voice all while being unprejudiced to opposite points of view. A saint. Some of us never like to follow in the footsteps of our peers or family – but following the footsteps of a saint? We can get on board with that… he would want us to keep his mentality alive.
Sending hugs to everyone he touched. Know that he is at peace, no longer struggling. Reach out to his family – even if you have never met them. Tell them stories of Art. We have been so lucky that they shared Art with all of us. Let them know how much he meant to you as we all know we lost a good one, the best one.
Beulah - Art's wife retired early to take care of her husband. Any donation will help Art's family during this difficult time.
