Hello, my name is Nate Pierce

I’m here to ask for support for our family so that we can give my dad the proper celebration of life that he wanted.

He was faced with a had a long fight with a degenerative heart disease called amyloidosis and fibrosis of the lungs. Unfortunately these were both incurable and when he went into the hospital for what we thought was a routine fix up, his body was unfortunately unable to fight his conditions and he lost his battle.

He went peacefully in his home town of Windsor surrounded by loved ones. He was a brother, uncle, great uncle, friend but his greatest accomplishment was being the proud father of 3 sons, 2 daughters and the silly poppa to 15 grandchildren and 5 great grand children.

he loved being around all of his family and friends and was a huge influence and beacon of hope to those who were lucky enough to know him as he always found a way to keep things positive even at his worst. He never asked for much except his daily newspaper and a request to make sure the tv was always set up for game time, when his favourite teams were playing.

His final wishes were to have a small ceremony and then a big family reunion type celebration in his hometown so all the people’s lives that he touched, Friends and family can revisit memories and celebrate what he stood for.

Close friends and family have asked for ways to help and Donate, so I created this platform to make Arthur’s final wishes turn to reality. Part of that is being able to have his children and family there to celebrate his life.

we have covered a chunk of the costs for his celebration of life and travel costs but could use some extra help with the remaining balance.
