Please pray for Arthur's recovery after his terrible fall, and donate to support his family!
Arthur is a very dedicated husband and father of nine children ranging in age from 21 to nine months.
Recently Arthur had a horrible fall that landed him into intensive care on a ventilator needing multiple surgeries. He fractured his neck, pelvis, legs, arms and has multiple internal injuries. Right now it looks like his left arm and legs are not responsive.
We are looking to raise money to help the family through this ordeal and to have some reserve for adaptations to the house when Arthur comes home. Any donation is most appreciated even $5 please. The COVID pandemic has made things even more challenging as Amber has not been allowed to see Arthur and her parents have not been able to help as the border between the Netherlands and Belgium has been closed.
We are also asking everyone to please pass along this prayer request: We are praying that Arthur will get well soon and that he will be able to walk and work again. It will take a miracle but with faith we are praying and offering up many penance. We are also doing a novena to Don Alvaro the successor to St. Josemaria so please join this intention if you can.

O God, merciful Father, you granted your
servant Álvaro, Bishop, the grace of being an
exemplary pastor in the service of the Church,
and a most faithful son and successor of Saint
Josemaría, the founder of Opus Dei. Grant that I too may respond faithfully to the demands of the Christian vocation, turning all the circumstances and events of my life into opportunities to love you and serve the kingdom of Jesus Christ. Deign to glorify your servant Álvaro, and through his intercession grant me the favor I request ...that Arthur Laurentius will walk and work again and be fully healed physically, mentally, spiritually. Amen.

Amber and Arthur plan to spend the money on medical expenses and to pay for some adaptations to the house so that Arthur will be able to move around the first floor without having to go up steps. They are installing ramps to be able to enter the house and enter the kitchen and living room.
Funds will be sent to the Amber and Arthur Laurentius and family, who live in Belgium via a wire
transfer from a US account as Amber and Arthur can not be certified by Go Fund Me to receive the funds directly as they do not have a social security number, for example. This will ensure all the campaign’s donations to their intended recipients. We are Amber's brother and sister in law and will ensure that every penny will end up with Amber and Arthur.
