Help Arthur's family while he undergoes chemo!

Hi, my name is Rick and I'm fundraising to help my good friend Arthur Mattmiller while he goes through a very difficult battle with cancer. Arthur is a fellow airline pilot and an outstanding, brave individual, and due to his condition, has been removed from flying and placed on disability while he undergoes treatment. He was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma back in 2019. Multiple Myeloma is an incurable cancer but can be treated to an extent with therapy. In 2019, Arthur underwent multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation as well as a stem cell transplant. Unfortunately, because this cancer has no cure, it came back again in March of this year despite being on maintenance therapy to keep it at bay. The cancer has made the jump from his bone to his soft tissue and settled into his testicles which resulted in a double Orchiectomy, which is extremely rare. In June, the cancer then reappeared in his bones, namely collar and shoulder bones. Arthur is currently undergoing chemotherapy with another stem cell transplant scheduled for November of this year. Consequently because of the chemo and drugs, he is unable to fly and is on disability. Arthur hopes to be back in the sky by the Spring of next year, but it’s all predicated on how his body responds to the transplant and strengthening his immune system to allow him to be out and about. Arthur has a great attitude, is very positive and very brave, but his financial situation is strained due to the need for additional childcare and the limitations of the long term disability program.
