Arthur H. Ode III, "Dutch"

On November 4, 2023, Dutch Ode passed away after a brief illness.

He was a devoted son to Arthur and Joan (previously deceased), loving brother to Eva and Greta, talented musician who shared his passion for trombone around the country and the world, dedicated music educator, generous friend, and dear soul with a heart of gold. Above all, he was a wise and wonderful father to Allison, now 15, but always his little girl. Their love for each other was infinite.

Dutch will be missed more than words can possibly express.

Please consider helping his family with final expenses, including an appropriate memorial service. Any remaining funds will be given to Allison for her education.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 10am. The service will be at Messiah Lutheran Church, 907 Washington (Texas St and Washington Drive), Weatherford, TX. All who knew Dutch are welcome to attend. Your presence will be a comfort.
