My name is Karina and I am fundraising on behalf of my father Artemio Ocampo for medical, lawyer, and bail fees. Artemio is not only a hard working and loving father but also a grandfather to my own son, whom he’s helped raise and take care of since the day he was born in October of 2013. Artemio has been the most significant father figure in my sons life and has always been by his side to this day. But on Sunday night July 31st, my father, Artemio, was physically assaulted and accused of allegations by Mario Alberto Saldana Lopez, who is my sons biological father. Artemio suffered with a head concussion, fractured nose and face bones, severe bruising and bleeding, parcial blindness, and nerve damage, all caused by Mario. Then, my father was jailed for the crime that he did not provoke nor commit. I am asking for help to cover his medical bills, bail fees, and lawyer fees that have been acquired from that horrible night. My father, Artemio, has been the biggest supporter in my son and I life’s, he did not deserve this kind of harassment.  Anything small or big helps out and is very much appreciated.
