In the wake of an unimaginable tragedy that occurred on Friday, February 9th, we reach out to the community for support. Artem Bychkov, a beloved family member and cherished soul, tragically passed away at the age of 40 on Monday, February 12th around 1:45 pm.
On that fateful early Friday morning, the West Sacramento Fire Department rushed to the scene following 911 calls from neighbors reporting an explosion and subsequent house fire. Artem was found in critical condition, without a pulse and not breathing. First responders were able to bring back his pulse and heart beat and rushed him to the hospital where he was on life support. Despite all immediate efforts to save him and our unending hope, our Creator had a different plan for Artem. On Monday, February 12, surrounded by loving family, Artem went to be with the Lord.
Artem's untimely departure has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who loved him. Known for his unconditional love for his family, he was a pillar of strength, kindness, and love. His passing is not just a loss to his family but to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
During this difficult time, we humbly ask for your prayers and support. Our Lord's peace and comfort are what the grieving hearts of Artem's family need most. In memory of Artem and as a response to many calls and messages from those who loved and respected him asking how to support, we are setting up this GoFundMe to allow those who have on their hearts to help cover the funeral expenses.
Any funds raised will directly cover the costs associated with laying Artem to rest in the dignified manner he deserves. Should donations exceed the funeral expenses, the remaining funds will be given to his daughters, Victoria and Lilya.
Thank you for your prayers, compassion, and generosity. Cherish relationships and hug your loved ones. Take advantage of all opportunities to tell your loved ones why they are special to you.
