My name is Artavious Thompson, upcoming Junior Psych major from Memphis, Tn.I am reaching out with great humility and hope as a proud student at Howard University. As a first-generation college student raised by a single mother, attending Howard has been a dream come true. Immersing myself in the rich culture, history, and legacy of this institution has transformed my life and deepened my passion for serving others. However, I currently face a financial challenge that threatens to pause my education.

I have until July 31st to cover my outstanding balance of $12,806 to return for the 2025-2026 academic school year . This situation weighs heavily on me because my time at Howard has been more than just an education; it’s been a calling. I plan to continue my journey here by pursuing graduate studies at Howard to become a clinical psychologist. My ultimate goal is to open a private practice where I can support underserved communities, drawing from the values instilled in me by Howard's legacy.

I am asking for your support to help me cross this hurdle. I'm asking for any resources that could assist me in my situation.will not only allow me to continue my matriculation but also reaffirm the person who I want to be.
