Please Help Us Get Violet a Diabetic Alert Dog!

My daughter, Violet, 10 years old, was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes right after her 10th birthday this year. She was admitted to our local hospital in the middle of the night and transferred to the Children's Hospital, where she spent a week in the PICU. Half of her stay there was trying to get her conscious and aware. Once she was awake and alert again, she was also diagnosed with a 2nd degree heart block.

Violet is a very independent and active young girl who lost a lot of that independence after being diagnosed, and my once happy-go-lucky little girl is no longer carrying herself the same. My wish for her is to give her back as much normalcy and freedom in life as possible, which is where her furever friend comes in.
