I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you today as a friend to the family, with a heavy heart to share a devastating story that has deeply impacted our community.

Recently, a family in our midst experienced the unimaginable tragedy of losing their beloved child. As friends and neighbors, we are coming together to offer our support during this incredibly difficult time.

The early evening of October 5th, 2023, while riding his bike home from school to get home for supper, there was a vehicle-cyclist accident that resulted in the death of a Vincent Massey student here in Brandon Manitoba. Antoine Sutherland was only 15 years old, close to turning 16, who was a dear friend to all that he met; full of stories and had a love for basketball. His character charmed everyone, his positive outlook on life shinned through his fun, goofy, friendly demeanor. He was truly a blessing to his whole family, and it is a devastating shock to everyone who knew him. He is already truly missed.

In an effort to provide some relief and assistance to the grieving parents. Our goal is to raise funds to help alleviate the financial burden that often accompanies such a heartbreaking loss. We believe that by coming together as a community, we can make a significant difference in their lives. The funds raised through this campaign will be used to cover funeral expenses, counseling services, and any other immediate needs that the family may have.

Additionally, we hope to establish a memorial fund in honor of their child, which will support causes that were close to their heart. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact on this family's journey towards healing.
