Briana is currently incarcerated in New Mexico Western Correctional Facility in Grants, NM, serving an eighteen year sentence. Despite her circumstances, she remains a creative, bright soul who is dedicated to making a positive impact. While in prison, Briana has been working as a tutor for women seeking their GED, helping others find hope and purpose through education. She is now actively working to start a program for animals at risk of euthanasia, so they can instead be cared for by women in prison. I am supporting her in creating the bylaws for this meaningful program, which will benefit both the animals and the women involved.

Briana also expresses herself through poetry and songwriting, and she dreams of expanding her creativity into fine art. We are asking for donations to provide her with art supplies, which she will purchase through the prison system. These supplies will not only support her personal growth, but also help her inspire others and contribute to her animal program. Through art, Briana hopes to bring hope and healing to herself and those around her, making a difference even in the most challenging circumstances.
