Art Snyder’s Recovery Fund
Donation protected

**Arts words....."I hit the ground and my body went SPLAT!"
Art suffered a fractured pelvis, a burst fracture of T-11 on his spine, a punctured lung, a shattered wrist and elbow, a broken tailbone, and several broken ribs. He was immediately taken by ambulance to Winchester Medical Center where he stayed for 6 days; receiving a brand new elbow (his wasn't salvageable), putting pins/screws in his wrist, and other minor procedures. As for the spine and pelvic injury, it will just take time to heal - along with many weeks of physical therapy.
Doctors are estimating his recovery time to be roughly 12 weeks, minimum.
Arts wife, Linda (Mentzer) Snyder, will be his sole caretaker while he works on healing. Art and Linda are now faced with an extended-stay hospital bill, upcoming Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, upcoming X-rays, neurological visits, and several orthopedic appointments for spine, pelvis, elbow, and wrist.
Anyone who knows Art and Linda know they will BOTH give the shirt off their backs for anyone who needs help - even though Art will grumble through it (an inside joke between him and I because he can be just a tad bit grouchy)
It's no secret Art and Linda DO NOT like to ask for help, but I've spoken with each of them to ask permission for this donation page. First and foremost, they are asking for prayers for a quick and FULL recovery - and they thank everyone who expressed concern through calls, messages, etc.
Please keep Art and Linda in your thoughts and prayers as they maneuver through the unpredictable months to come. If you are able to donate, they would be most appreciative - there is no donation too small!
Linda has mentioned she will do her best to keep up with calls and messages, and she will allow me to update this page as he continues to improve.
Thank you ALL and please continue to send positive thoughts for Arts New Start!
