Art Shegonee Tipi Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Art Shegonee. I am a Menominee/Potawatomi cultural educator. I was gifted a tipi by the Milwaukee Indian Summer Festival Board in 2020. Unbeknownst to us, the treatment process to protect the tipi had not been done for awhile. Due to inclement weather, the tipi fell into disrepair.

The tipi was used for educational and spiritual purposes both locally and statewide.

I want to continue educating others to promote peace, balance, and harmony, as well as lending guidance to those going through personal difficulties.

The funds will be used to purchase a new treated tipi, as well as the cost of upkeep.
