How you can help
I'd like to attend a 3-day workshop at the Exploratorium Tinkering Studio, to be held between March 21-23.  If I can meet my goal, I'll be able to afford the tuition cost and participate in this wonderful professional development opportunity.

My story
I am a public librarian in Marin County where I lead various maker activities at my library. I host a CoderDojo Club, a Girls Who Code Club, and Open Lab sessions that are open and free of cost to all.

I strive to bring creativity, learning, and experimentation inside the library walls. I engage with different age groups and support their exploration with tools such as  3D printers, Raspberry Pis, Arduino boards, programming languages, and robotics challenges.

Why it's important
The 3-day hands-on workshop will explore how tinkering and making support fundamental STEM thinking and learning and how these activities have emerged as new standards for blending science and art explorations.
